Tomato and Basil Pizza Burgers

These burgers from Morningstar farms are available in the freezer section of your local grocery stores. This Pizza Burger is full of delicious pizza flavor, and it's covered up by delicious cheese, tomato and Italian spices making it hard to resist. Nutritionally, this is excellent. Not much sodium, only 130 calories and 11 g of protein. You can also get 3 g of dietary fiber from this. Its costs $4-$5 for a 9.5oz packet of 4 frozen patties. Its a little pricey but given the wonderful taste and nutrition of this product, I think it's a good buy.

Warming Instructions: You can follow the directions on the packet but I usually microwave 1 patty for 45 seconds and then toast it in the toaster oven for 2 -3 minutes. So what I basically do is thaw it in the microwave and toast it for crispness in the toaster oven. The result is excellent and much faster than the 10-15 minutes required in the conventional oven.
